Arizona Stadium

The SiteWorks team was on the M.A. Mortenson Design/Build team for the Beardown field. Delivery of a brand new artificial turf playing surface for the 2013 season included a new irrigation and drainage system. The field improvement was a Design/Build transition from natural to artificial turf. High performance drainage and cooling systems were part of these improvements.

This field had an extensive drainage design due to large offsite flows being controlled around the new North End Zone Building situated directly south of the field. This field is also located on top of a major regional drainage storage vault which added to the complexity of the drainage design
